Community Update

At the September 8 board meeting, the governing board requested the district gather more information from families and staff in order to make a reopening recommendation at the October 6 board meeting. Teachers will be reaching out in the coming weeks to ask you to select your model again, as we are aware that circumstances may have changed since the last time you made your selection.

The district will continue to monitor the information coming from the governor's office, Arizona Department of Education, and state and local health agencies. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this unusual school year and are grateful that you are still choosing Littleton. Be well.

Immunizations

All new or incoming students enrolled in grades K through 8th grade must provide proof of immunizations to our health office and must be up to date for all required vaccinations. We require all students turning 11 years old to receive the following vaccines:

  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)
  • MCV4 (Meningococcal)

The student will have 30 days from their date of birth to provide proof of documentation, if not they will be non-compliant.

The West Valley Immunization Clinic is offering free services. For an appointment, call (602) 506-5888.

ParentVUE Portal

The Littleton Elementary School District is using ParentVUE to push out important information. If you have not already done so, please make sure you can log in to the ParentVUE portal. ParentVUE is where you will find the 2020-21 Parent-Student Handbook and attendance. If you see that your student is marked absent, and you know that your child has been attending, please contact the teacher to correct the attendance.
