A Message from Our Principal

Welcome to 2019!

It is hard to believe that the new year is already here. We are excited to share that we have some great new staff members coming on board after the break!

In 5th grade, Ms. Stacey Sobleman will be joining our team! She is taking the place of long-term substitute Mrs. Valdez, who will continue her work with our district. We are very thankful to Mrs. Valdez for all her support and care for our 5th graders during the first semester. Ms. Sobleman comes to us from Missouri. She is from St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri. She loves to travel and has been to eight different countries.

We also have two new paraprofessionals joining the Mustang family, Vanessa Boston and Christina Shepard.

You may have noticed a familiar face in the front office lately. Due to the amazing staff, our leadership focus, great students, and amazing community, we are now the largest school in the district! Because of our size we were able to add the a third office position, and we were lucky to rehire one of our former staff members and parents, Mrs. Gladys Silvain. She is the friendly face that greets you as you walk in the door!

We are very proud of the great learning that your students are doing and the amazing support that we get from our parents and the community! We have high expectations and many opportunities for growth, but we know that together we can accomplish incredible feats!

Please remember, everyone can be a leader and all of us have genius!
